Thanks to my wife Nicola, and little girls Amelia, and Addison, I’m a father learning a lot about Netball, gymnastics, tap dance, funk dance, and Pippins…all things I cannot do, but generally the activities that occupy what I’m told is my free time.
I spent the first four years of my working life in the education system, working with children with severe behavior disorders.
My work took me from my home in London, to Sydney, followed by a two year stint living and working in the USA. It was there I was bedazzled by the charms of a young Kiwi lady…and from there, as they say, the rest is history.
I have called Auckland home for thirteen years now. In that time, working in the Insurance profession, I've seen the value derided from good advice, and believe strongly in the difference good advice makes to businesses and families. It's what all my client interactions are based on.
I sit on the board of “A Supported Life”, an organization that support self-determination in young adults with intellectual disabilities. I'm also an active committee member of the Northcote Toy Library.
